It was another historic Rival Turf event this past Saturday night in Papatoetoe!
It was fitting that in such a chaotic match that Team Chaos would be the ones to claim victory, but it was due to a massive assist from The Bullet Club and The Underboss. Not much was known as to the intentions of Bad Luck Fale, but they were made clear and present when the New Japan pro Wrestling Star attacked Dal Knox, captured the flags for Curt Chaos, and left everyone in no doubt that Daniel Burnell & Curt Chaos had conspired with The Bullet Club from the get go.
The chain reaction from that moment has now created a massive showdown at Battle Scars on September 26. The Eliminator Contract of Dal Knox will be hung high from the ceiling as Curt Chaos & Dal Knox collide in a huge Ladder Match!
In other results from Rival Turf, Kingi & Vinny Dunn claimed the New Zealand Tag Team Championship in the Fatal Four Way contest, leaving The Pride fuming as they saw their Championships slip away without being involved in the pin fall. Jakob Cross continued his dominance of the New Zealand Heavyweight Championship scene with a brutal win over Fury in a Dog Collar Match, Travis Banks overcame Aaron Henry & New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Jay White, Megan Kate defended her gold against Britenay, Evie picked up a victory over Carmen Rose and Michael Richards claimed a dubious win via forfeit over Alfred Valentine.
One of the biggest events ever created takes place tomorrow night in Papatoetoe, Auckland!
Rival Turf will see two rings constructed, two teams colliding and only one will come out on top in the Rival Turf Capture the Flag Match!
This infamous match has settled scores, scarred competitors and created bitter rivals. Each man will be bent on capturing one of the flags that will stand in each ferociously guarded team corner. It is the team that overwhelms their opponents to bring both flags to their ring and corner that will claim victory, but it won’t be without a price. Bodies will be one the line and hearts on sleeves, and team work will be the key to victory in this giant match where all members will need to work together to capture the flag!
The New Zealand Women’s Championship will be on the line at Rival Turf 2015!
Since claiming the New Zealand Women’s Championship, Megan Kate has continued to rub it in the face of former holder Britenay, which has led to a Championship confrontation with a unique set of rules. The bat that Kate has never been shy in implementing into her matches will be hung high above the ring; the first competitor to grasp the bat and strike their opponent with it will be the victor, and New Zealand Women’s Champion!
