Pirate Burns injured at Breakdown
Jul 20, 2010 at 06:42 PM

Due to a callous attack by the newly formed Pure Wrestling Excellence group consisting of Saint Chaos and Jon E. King at Breakdown, Pirate Burns has suffered a suspected broken wrist.

With Liam Fury and Pirate Burns still IPW Tag Team Champions after their successful defence in a brutal Street Fight against The Professional Standard, the future of PANATA 's Championship reign is in question. IPW Commissioner Dion McCracken had this to say on the situation:

"The actions of Saint Chaos and Jon E. King at Breakdown were deplorable and something that I cannot condone. I understand that Brian Saint James and Curt Chaos believe that they should be the IPW Tag Team Champions, and at Breakdown felt they needed to make a statement in proving their case.

Attacking the Tag Team Champions after their match was, however, not the way to do it. It was a cowardly act and has resulted in the injury of Pirate Burns. I will be speaking with our medical staff over the coming days to evaluate the extent of Burns’ injury, and will make a decision on the state of the IPW Tag Team Championships after that. However, as it stands now, Pirates and Ninjas Are Totally Awesome are still the official Tag Team Champions."

Ninja Fury is also expected to address the situation in the coming weeks.
