"The Deal” Dal Knox retained at IPW Unbreakable and claimed back the belt stolen by “The Ex-Patriot” Alfred Valentine after he defeated Valentine and "The Professional" Joseph Kinkade in a Triple Threat match!
The new IPW Commissioner, Dion McCracken announced at the start of the show that the winner of the Big River Bash Rumble in Dargaville, Joseph Kinkade, would be joined in the main event by Alfred Valentine. Valentine blackmailed the new Commissioner into ensuring that he would be in the main event when he vowed to return the IPW New Zealand Heavyweight Championship belt to the winner of the match, but only if he was in it!
Valentine and Knox locked up while Kinkade looked on, and when Knox powered Valentine out of the ring, leaving Kinkade and Knox to tie up. Knox took the Professional out with a belly to belly suplex.
Knox fought his way back and took the proceedings back inside and earned a two count on Kinkade, but Valentine, with the key to the briefcase taped around his chest, attacked Knox from behind.
Kinkade took over the attack, launching himself in a concentrated attack on Knox. Valentine interrupted and hit the Valentine’s Day Gift on Kinkade. Knox saw the opening and headed up top, hitting a leg drop on both men.
He then clotheslined Kinkade outside and laid into the Ex-Patriot, but Kinkade was quickly back inside and took Valentine down with blows and covered for two. Valentine fought back and cinched in the Vordermann Crab, but Knox broke the hold and locked in Fort Knox.
Kinkade broke the hold this time and covered for two. With Valentine thrown to the outside, Kinkade covered the champ for another two and then locked in the Sleeper. Valentine attacked from behind and locked in a choke hold.
Knox dropped to his knees and hit a double jaw-breaker, breaking both the submission holds. Valentine caught Knox and hit a DDT, but missed with the 450 Splash off the top. Knox then hit the Knox Out, prevented an interruption from Kinkade with a DDT and then covered Valentine for the three count to retain his championship and reclaim his championship belt!

Back in the ring King caught Dunn with his own momentum, smashing him in the head with the ladder and King took control of the match, brutalising Dunn with the ladder, and busting him wide open.
A battered One reversed King into the ladder and hauling the ring steps into the ring, laid King out. Dunn climbed the ladder but got caught and King slammed Dunn into the ring steps instead. King then laid the One out on the ladder and took him out with a springboard moonsault off the ropes. King then went for the contract, but Dunn powerslammed him off, then hit the Only One. He climbed the ladder and hit the flying elbow off the ladder.
Both men recovered and started the arduous climb up the ladder, trading blows. Both fell off, but Dunn then locked King onto his shoulders and climbed the ring steps and hit the Muscle Buster off the ring steps. Dunn then climbed the ladder and almost got the contract, but King intercepted. Dunn was knocked off the ladder, but he then pushed the ladder still holding King and send him flying over the top rope to the outside, and the One righted the ladder and climbed to the top, claiming the contract and the Number One Contender’s Spot for the IPW New Zealand Heavyweight Championship at Nightmare Before Xmas in December!
