Alfred Valentine challenges "The Deal" Dal Knox for the gold this week on Ignition!
After controversially being named number one contender by Kit Bullion, Valentine will go one on one with a champion who is still wounded from his huge Lights Out Death match just weeks ago.
After leap frogging men with superior win/loss records this year to become number one contender such as Alexander and Lil T, Bullion has yet to address the situation but Valentine has been quick to vocalise his thoughts.
"It's an outstanding business decision. I am one of the most decorated wrestlers in New Zealand, a veteran of the scene, I am a visionary. Kit shares this vision. I believe he wants a champion who makes smart money decisions, not a champion who can be goaded into dangerous matches, a champion driven by emotion. The IPW champion should be a sharp dresser, Dal Knox has a 'man about town gym-rat' image which doesn't appeal to a business man of Bullion's ilk. IPW is a business, like I said before, it is an outstanding decision.
"As far as this match is concerned, Dal Knox has never put a Knox Out on me. And he won't, ever. This will be the hardest match of Dal's life."
With Valentine banking on the fact the IPW Champion will not be 100% after his brutal match with The Machine just weeks ago, Knox has responded with his own thoughts!
"I'm beat up..I'm not going to lie, But when it comes to defending my IPW Championship, I'll be ready"
"Valentine can make all the claims he wants but he won't be claiming my championship!"
Does Valentine have perfect Swiss timing in challenging a wounded champion just weeks after his brutal Lights Out Death Match?
Will "The Deal" successfully defend his championship again, dashing the hopes of the Swiss Wrestling Machine?
