Unleashed: Kinkade defends!
Tuesday October 6, 2009

In the main event of IPW Unleashed “The Professional” Joseph Kinkade paved his way to victory through the blood of Wrestling’s Most Wanted” Lil T and forced his opponent to tap when he cinched in the devastating Stretch Muffler to retain the IPW New Zealand Heavyweight Championship!

Kinkade spilled outside as Lil T gained the advantage in the early portion of the match, and thought twice about bringing a chair into the match.  Heading back inside, Lil T hit a series of clotheslines and suplexes, but the tide quickly turned the way of the champ, who hit back with brutal knee drops.

Lil T countered into a flying head scissors, but the comeback didn’t last and Kinkade went back to brutalising the challenger.  Kinkade then distracted the ref and allowed time for Mischa to attack T on the outside, busting him wide open. Lil T was at the mercy of the vicious champion, who smashed his wounded and profusely bleeding head into the mat, before glorying in the blood by rubbing it all over himself.

A pin earned Kinkade two, but Lil T still had enough fight left in him to counter an ankle lock into a rollup and he then pulled Kinkade into a backslide.  A hard clothesline from the champ put T back down on the mat, and he might have been down, but he wasn’t out, and he was able to fight back and lock in a Sleeper on Kinkade.

The Professional broke the hold and the pair traded chops as they climbed to their feet.  Lil T then hit Spin the Mic, earning a two count, and then took care of business on the ring apron by butting the heads of Gary O. Davis and Mischa together, knocking them to the ground.

Lil T then got caught by Kinkade coming off the top rope.  Kinkade hauled him back to the ropes, looking for a superplex, but Lil T fought his way free and hit the Impactor off the top instead.  This earned him a two count, but the champ still had enough wind in him to lock in the Stretch Muffler in the centre of the ring.  Unable to reach the ropes or break the hold, Lil T was forced to tap out and Joseph Kinkade retained his IPW New Zealand Heavyweight Championship!
