IPW stole the show this past weekend at the Armageddon Pulp Expo!
In the main event of day one of the Armageddon Pulp Expo at the ASB Showgrounds in Auckland the IPW New Zealand Heavyweight Champion "The Professional" Joseph Kinkade successfully defended his championship against the NZ Dream when the Dream got DQ'd for the wild use of a Singapore cane!
The NZ Dream didn't wait for the bell and attacked Kinkade on the outside, and the pair brawled in an untamed melee into the crowd. When the pair finally made it into the ring for the match to start it was the Dream who was firmly in control of the match.
But numbers played in the Champion's favour when the combined efforts of Mischa Ivanoff and Gary O. Davis distracted the referee and allowed Kinkade to take the advantage.
In the end the Dream got fed up with the antics of O. Davis and Ivanoff and he fetched a Singapore cane from under the ring and unleashed on the champ and Ivanoff, getting disqualified in the process, leaving Joseph Kinkade as the IPW New Zealand Heavyweight Champion!

Headlining the afternoon session of Day 2 of Armageddon was a huge battle between IPW New Zealand Heavyweight Champion "The Professional" Joseph Kinkade and "Double D" Davey Deluxeo which saw Kinkade retain after Mischa utilised a briefcase to knock Deluxeo silly!
The champ started out the match by taking a piss break, but when he got back to the ring it was Deluxeo who took control of the match, fighting fire with fire and taking it to the mat with the champ.
With XS at ringside the effect of Mischa Ivanoff and Gary O. Davis throughout the match was fairly neutered, but when Joseph Kinkade fought his way out of a roll up by Deluxeo and pushed DD headfirst into the briefcase held by Ivanoff XS weren't able to halt the tides of fate and Kinkade retained his championship once again!

Ivanoff clocked Deluxeo with a briefcase and Kinkade got the pin to win.
Joseph Kinkade retained in the main event of day three at Auckland Armageddon against Jordan Invincible when he used the briefcase thrown to him in front of the ref, getting himself disqualified and giving Invincible the victory, but ensuring the belt stayed around his waist!
The ref was quick to eject the entourages of XS and Mischa Ivanoff from ringside, making the match more of an even playing field. The pair brawled out into the crowd, doing some damage before heading back to the ring where Jordan Invincible took control of the match.
Invincible missed with a moonsault and Kinkade seized the advantage, and Gary O. Davis, who had remained at ringside, took the opening to pound at Invincible while Kinkade distracted the ref.
The challenger broke out the draining submission hold and hit a neckbreaker off the top followed by a massive moonsault. Mischa snuck back to ringside and distracted the ref while Gary O. Davis handed Kinkade his briefcase. Kinkade clocked Invincible with the ref looking on, and the ref was forced to call the match in Invincible's favour by disqualification.
And, in the final of the Armageddon Cup tournament, Brian Saint James claimed victory over A Class after A Class hit a Spinebuster but got caught on the ropes and Saint James was able to take him out with the Silver Spoon to be come the new Armageddon Cup Champion!
